Style: New England IPA

ABV: 6.8%

Notes: For our anniversary beer, we went a little outside the box. We took Rhode Trips four rotating hops (MOSAIC, CITRA, VIC SECRET + GALAXY) and re-worked our methods to produce a crushable, lighter New England IPA. The result is a soft and balanced, yet juicy NEIPA that marks a big departure from our original product and methods after twenty years of brewing, testing, and repeating. Cheers to two decades!

C'est La Vie Beer.png

C’est La Vie

STYLE: Brut IPA

ABV: 7%

NOTES: Brut IPA is a light, dry, and effervescent India Pale Ale. Mosaic and Hallertau Blanc hops impart subtle notes of white wine, citrus, and tropical fruit; making this our favorite ‘go-to’ brunch drink.

IronHorse_CAN.png

Iron Horse

STYLE: Barrel Aged Double IPA

ABV: 8.4%

NOTES: This barrel aged brown sugar DIPA was inspired by, and brewed for Bobby Forster, our friend fighting A.L.S., Lou Gehrig’s disease. The name “The Iron Horse”, Lou’s baseball nickname, refers to both their shared determination and winning spirit. Canada pale malt, malted wheat and seven months of barrel aging give Iron Horse a copper hue and a slight oak finish. The addition of Simcoe, Citra & Centennial hops adds orange, grapefruit and nectar fruit flavors while the barrel imparts notes of honey and brown sugar.

A part of the proceeds from this sale will go to funding Bobby’s journey.

Watermelon Freez Beer.png

Watermelon Freez

STYLE: Berliner Weisse Style

ABV: 4.1%

NOTES: Watermelon Freez is our second collaboration with soft-serve ice cream legends, Frosty Freez. It’s a drinkable, refreshingly tart, German Berliner Weisse. Light red hue & juicy watermelon notes remind us of backyard barbecues and summer picnics. Pairs well with vacation days.

Sting Sour Ale Beer.png

The Sting

Style: Sour Ale

ABV: 7%

Notes: The Sting is a brett beer that we aged in our Thomas Tew Rum barrels for a year. Brettanomyees yeast added elements of stone fruit and cherry to the brew. The result is a barrel-forward sour ale that can be enjoyed any time of year.

Infringement Beer.png

Notes: The beer was designed to have enough roasted bitterness and body to balance out the impacts of the sweetness from the barrel and the pickup of the remnants of rum.

Style: Barrel-Aged Scotch Ale

ABV: 9.3%

We teamed up with Grey Sail to release a Scotch Ale that’s been aged in our Sea Fog Whiskey barrels for 12 months. Never before have we aged beer in our whiskey barrels so this is our most rare beer to date!

Frosty Stout

Style: Stout

ABV: 6.7 %

The Frosty Freez crew generously shared the crucial ingredient — their vanilla soft serve blend– while we dialed it up with some cocoa nibs from Ghanna. Our Frosty Stout is their famous Vanilla-Chocolate twist turned into a creamy, delicious stout.

Annual ‘18

Style: Barleywine

ABV: 11 %

This year’s brew spent most of its time in the oak barrels we age our Thomas Tew Rum in. Five malts, including a new one, add ample amounts of toffee and caramel flavors to this English-inspired ale. Moderate amounts of East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops provide an underlying balance in this brew.
